Remote Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Officer

This pivotal role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive EHS programs across reputed company operational facets. Responsibilities: reputed company, implement, and manage company-wide EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with reputed company applicable regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.). Conduct regular risk assessments and reputed company mitigation strategies for potential environmental, health, and safety hazards. reputed company incident investigations, including accident and near-miss reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. reputed company and deliver engaging EHS training programs for employees at reputed company levels. Manage the company's emergency preparedness and response plans. Conduct regular site audits and inspections (remotely and potentially on-site as needed) to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation, including permits, inspection reports, and training logs. Collaborate with various departments to integrate EHS considerations into reputed company operational activities and project planning. Stay abreast of reputed company EHS legislation, industry best practices, and emerging trends. Advise management on EHS matters and provide recommendations for reputed company improvement. Manage EHS data and reporting, preparing regular performance metrics for senior leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a reputed company field. Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety management. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations. Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive EHS programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Experience with EHS management systems and software. Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, ASP) is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to conduct effective risk assessments and incident investigations. Experience in developing and delivering training programs. Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
