Role Overview

As a German‑Speaking Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for our German‑language customers. You will wear many hats—troubleshooter, product guide, data analyst, and advocate—ensuring that every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression. This role sits at the heart of our B2B SaaS ecosystem, where you will help customers unlock the full value of our revenue‑management solution, resolve technical challenges, and contribute ideas that shape future product enhancements.

The position is fully remote, with a shift that runs from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM CET, five days a week. It is open to candidates residing in Europe or South Africa who hold a valid work permit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of customer‑reported issues, guiding each case from initial contact through to successful resolution.
  • Conduct live product walkthroughs via email, phone, or video calls, demonstrating features and best‑practice usage to German‑speaking users.
  • Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex technical problems, leveraging your analytical mindset and familiarity with data‑driven products.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and empathetic feedback, ensuring customers feel heard and valued at every step.
  • Document every interaction in our ticketing system, guaranteeing proper closure and knowledge‑base updates for future reference.
  • Identify patterns in support requests and proactively suggest process improvements or product enhancements to the broader arenaflex team.
  • Go above and beyond to delight customers—whether that means crafting a custom report, sharing a hidden feature, or simply checking in after a resolved issue.

About You – Core Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who embody a blend of empathy, curiosity, and analytical rigor. The ideal applicant will have:

  • Fluency in German—both spoken and written communication must be native‑level.
  • Demonstrated patience and empathy when handling diverse customer personalities and challenging situations.
  • A problem‑solving mindset, with a natural curiosity to dig deep into data and uncover root causes.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment or a dedicated customer support role, preferably within a SaaS or technology‑focused company.
  • Strong analytical background; comfort working with numbers, statistics, and data visualisation.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, enabling you to convey technical concepts in clear, non‑technical language.
  • Hands‑on experience with databases (SQL queries), Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint for creating reports and visual aids.
  • Familiarity with support platforms such as Zohodesk or comparable ticketing systems.

Must‑Have Requirements

  • Primary fluency in German for both verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work the designated CET shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) on a full‑time basis.
  • Legal right to work in a European country or South Africa.
