Join arenaflex as a Remote Application Administration & Data Migration Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for accuracy, exceptional typing speed, and outstanding customer service skills? arenaflex is looking for a motivated, entry-level Remote Application Administration & Data Migration Specialist to support a major enterprise migration project. This is a unique opportunity to launch your career in application administration and data management while working with cutting-edge migration tools alongside an experienced development team.

This role is part of an exciting organizational transformation initiative at arenaflex — a major migration project that involves moving organizations, accounts, users, and select order components from an existing platform to a new system. While some migrations will be handled programmatically, the development team needs additional skilled resources to manually build out the remaining organizations and user accounts. As a Remote Application Administration & Data Migration Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless transition of healthcare clients, including doctors, nurses, and other critical end users, to the new application environment.

The work you do directly impacts the client experience and, ultimately, the patients and medical results served by arenaflex and its partners. Your attention to detail, speed, and customer service excellence will help prevent costly downtime at client offices and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for thousands of end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform entry-level application administration tasks in support of the Beacon-to-Link migration project at arenaflex.
  • Manually create, configure, and manage organizations and user accounts within the Link platform based on detailed migration requirements.
  • Accurately input and transfer large volumes of client data, including organizational hierarchies, user credentials, profile information, and select order components.
  • Provide responsive, professional, and friendly customer service to end users — including doctors, nurses, and healthcare administrators — as they transition to the new application.
  • Triage incoming helpdesk requests, prioritize issues based on urgency, and escalate complex technical concerns to the senior development team as needed.
  • Collaborate with the four-person core development team to identify migration patterns, troubleshoot data inconsistencies, and ensure data integrity throughout the migration process.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to organize, format, and document migration activities, account information, and project notes.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of all administrative actions performed, following arenaflex documentation standards.
  • Adhere to defined shift schedules and support divisional time zone requirements, ensuring clients always have access to timely assistance.
  • Participate in training sessions to build expertise in the Link platform, application administration best practices, and the broader migration methodology at arenaflex.
  • Uphold the highest standards of data privacy, security, and compliance, particularly given the sensitive nature of healthcare-related data.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational credential (required).
  • Excellent typing skills, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute (WPM) and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred — at least one member of the four-person support team will be bilingual, and additional bilingual capacity is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, edit, format, and manage documents and spreadsheets efficiently.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free remote workspace.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate empathetically and professionally with end users who may be unfamiliar with new technology.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Willingness to complete a three-minute IKM typing assessment as part of the hiring process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Tier 1 helpdesk experience, including first-line customer support and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience with triage methodologies — assessing, categorizing, and routing incoming support requests.
  • Familiarity with application administration concepts, such as user provisioning, account management, or organizational setup.
  • Exposure to enterprise SaaS platforms, CRM tools, or healthcare information systems.
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment and managing time effectively across distributed teams.
  • Comfort with learning new software platforms quickly and adapting to evolving project requirements.

Skills and Competencies for Success

To thrive as a Remote Application Administration & Data Migration Specialist at arenaflex, you will need a blend of technical aptitude, soft skills, and personal discipline. Success in this role requires:

  • Speed and Accuracy: The ability to type quickly while maintaining exceptional precision is critical, as data entry errors can lead to misconfigured accounts, failed migrations, and downstream client issues.
  • Customer Empathy: Healthcare professionals are busy and often under pressure. The ideal candidate communicates with patience, warmth, and clarity — even when handling difficult or time-sensitive requests.
  • Attention to Detail: Migration projects demand meticulous record-keeping and a sharp eye for inconsistencies in organizational data, user attributes, and account hierarchies.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: While complex technical problems are escalated, the ability to identify potential issues early and propose solutions is highly valued.
  • Time Management: Working remotely requires self-discipline, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a commitment to meeting daily and weekly migration targets.
  • Adaptability: Migration projects evolve rapidly. The ability to adjust to new tools, updated procedures, and shifting priorities is essential.
  • Team Collaboration: Though the work is largely independent, you will be part of a broader migration team and must communicate effectively with developers, project managers, and fellow administrators.

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in or near Burlington, North Carolina, and across the United States. You will work from the comfort of your own home, with all necessary tools and systems provided by arenaflex.
