This role involves driving new business through outbound prospecting and managing the full sales cycle, while also coordinating freight shipments and developing long-term relationships with customers and carriers.
Responsibilities
- Driving new business through outbound prospecting and pipeline development
- Building and managing a personal book of business from scratch
- Owning the full sales cycle from outreach through account growth
- Coordinating freight shipments and managing execution end-to-end
- Negotiating rates and securing carrier capacity
- Developing long-term relationships with customers and carriers
- Maintaining strong activity levels in a performance-driven environment
- Operating independently in a remote, high-autonomy role
Skills
- Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation (required)
- Proven success or clear ability in outbound B2B sales
- Hunter mentality with strong drive to win new business
- Ability to work independently in a remote, self-managed environment
