Job Summary

We are looking for an Industry Professional with a Master's degree and expertise in Network Security to share their knowledge and experience as an Online Visiting Professor. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for facilitating student learning by delivering educational courses and programs in accordance with DeVry University requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide students with an approved DeVry University syllabus that follows a template established by the local campus.
• Organize, prepare, and regularly revise and update all course materials.
• Use appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software.
• Model effective oral and written communications that engage students and improve learning.
• Set clear expectations for the course and ensure consistency and fairness in grading.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in a relevant field (Doctoral degree preferred).
• 18 graduate hours in the subject being taught for undergraduate teaching.
• PhD or MS in Software Engineering, MSCS, or MS in Cyber Security.
• Qualifying credentials must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Administration.
• Requisite subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills.
• Excellent motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment.

Pay and Benefits

Visiting Professor pay is based on degree, credit hours taught per 8-week session, and location. Pay may vary in most states from $1500-$2600 per 8-week session. DeVry University offers competitive wages and benefit options, including:
