Job Title: Virtual Special Needs Educator Location: Maryland (Remote... Position Overview: As a 1099 contractor, you will work with diverse learners, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensuring that each student receives the personalized support they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs. • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with parents and other professionals. • Provide insight, direct instruction and support to students through virtual platforms. • Create engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual learning goals. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred). • Valid Maryland teaching certification in Special Education. • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
