UX Designer

Simpli.fi’s investors include leading private equity firms Blackstone and GTCR. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Simpli.fi is currently looking for a UX Designer to join our Product team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to create seamless, engaging, and effective user experiences. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: As a UX Designer on the Product Team, you will: • Have direct influence over the product's direction. UX Designers are one of the first to be involved in a product's timeline. • Work with Product Leads of various cross-functional teams to determine requirements and use cases. • Collaborate closely with application developers to design simple intuitive interfaces that improve user workflow. • Mentor junior designers and help lead creative reviews. • Help facilitate qualitative user tests. • Work on improving and expanding our internal Design System as a product for our application developers. YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: • At least 5 years of product design, software/webapp design, web design or related field. Experience with UX design/prototyping tools. We use Figma, but if you have worked with Sketch, AdobeXD, or Invision, Figma will be very easy to pick-up. • CODING ISN'T REQUIRED, but basic understanding of how web-technologies work is) • Strong communication skills • You'll get bonus points if you have experience in: • User testing or user story mapping • Product analytics tools (we use Fullstory) • Graphic design or illustration • Front-end development • Knowledge of Vue.js WORKING WITH US HAS ITS REWARDS: Awesome company environment and benefits with a great management team.
