Description Covered California is seeking to hire four student assistants in the Team Building Program. As our Team Building Program Student Assistant, you'll play a key role in fostering growth and engagement across our organization.

Conditions of Employment This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student position. Employment in all positions with University Enterprises, Inc. is dependent upon the mutual consent of University Enterprises, Inc. and the employee. This means that either University Enterprises, Inc. or the employee can, at any time, terminate the employment relationship at will, with or without cause. Prerequisites Must be a college student attending classes during the regular term (Fall, Spring and Winter, if applicable), at one of the accredited colleges or universities on our affiliation list. Students declared major must match the major(s) listed in the job posting. Majors/Fields of Study Business Administration, Communication Studies, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Information System, Education, Liberal Studies, Media Communications and Organization Communication Work Schedule Flexible workdays and work hours, Monday - Friday, between 8 AM - 5 PM. The final work schedule will be determined by the supervisor. Additional Work Schedule Student Assistant and Graduate Assistant employees generally work up to 24 hours per workweek (Sunday - Saturday) during the academic year and up to 40 hours per workweek during breaks; (winter, spring, and summer). Minimum Qualifications • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees and team members professionally and effectively. • Ability to troubleshoot issues, especially related to technology, such as broken links or login difficulties. • Commitment to maintaining accuracy in tasks such as updating records, tracking assessments, and preparing reports. • Enthusiastic about working in a team-oriented environment that values inclusion and innovation. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with SharePoint and WorkDay is a plus. Individuals who are, or have been, a dependent child in foster care, a homeless youth or a formerly incarcerated youth as defined by Government Code section 18220 are encouraged to apply and will be given priority. Duties and Responsibilities • Create, send, and monitor assessments and quizzes, such as Everything Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness (DiSC), The Five Behaviors of a Team, Working Genius, Emotional Intelligence, Safety and Authentic Self. • Track assessment completion and results to ensure timely feedback. • Assist employees with resolving issues like broken assessment links or login problems. • Provide quick and effective solutions to technical challenges related to assessments. • Schedule Team Building Workshops, ensuring all participants are informed with timely reminders. • Manage workshop follow-ups, including sending post-session feedback surveys and drafting detailed outcome reports. • Update and organize the SharePoint page to provide easy access to team resources and materials. • Maintain accurate employee DiSC style records in WorkDay. • Update and enhance slide decks to support presentations. • Create Certificates of Completion, design email signature icons and badges, and assist with session closeout processes. • Serve as a co-producer for virtual workshops and training sessions. Physical Requirements Sit for extended periods; frequently stand and walk; manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; verbal communication; use of office equipment including computer workstations, telephones, calculators, copiers, printers, and scanners with or without reasonable accommodation. Working Conditions Work is performed in a remote environment. Students/Employees will be required to work according to the current UEI remote workplace policy and sign a UEI Work from Home Agreement. The decision to permit an employee to work from home is at the discretion of the supervisor or employer and may, at any time and with or without cause, unilaterally terminate the option to work from home.
