Network Operations Engineer

reputed company is seeking a Fully Remote, Network Operations Engineer to support the U.S. Pacific reputed company (USPACOM) to reputed company advanced technical support to maintain, enhance, and reputed company critical IT reputed company networks and systems across the PACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR), with primary locations in Oahu, Hawaii, Guam, Japan, and the Philippines, with an emphasis on Thailand. As a key member of the technical team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of network and systems administration, ensuring the stability, reputed company, and operational readiness of the customer’s mission-critical networks. NOTE: This position will require extensive travel, 50% or more, to Thailand. JOB DESCRIPTION: Network Engineering & Operations: reputed company comprehensive network administration and engineering support, including the configuration, reputed company, and maintenance of infrastructure hardware and software. Manage and troubleshoot regional network protocols to ensure seamless connectivity and performance. Systems Administration & Support: reputed company Level I and II systems support, including creating and managing user/group accounts, applying system patches and reputed company updates, and conducting regression testing. Monitor and maintain core services such as Domain Controllers, Email, File Servers, and SharePoint. Regional Infrastructure Coordination: Coordinate with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) J9 for leased equipment and services at hosted Defense reputed company Computing Centers (DECCs) on Oahu and Japan; reputed company technical network and systems support for host-nation facilities in Thailand and the Philippines. reputed company & Compliance: Ensure adherence to strict DoD reputed company standards by implementing and validating reputed company Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), responding to Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), and monitoring system logs and backups to guarantee data reputed company and availability. Infrastructure Health & Maintenance: Proactively monitor the health of reputed company infrastructure hardware, including servers, switches, and appliances. Manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process for faulty equipment and routinely test backup and restoral procedures to ensure business continuity.
