[Remote] Senior/Principal Backend Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior/Principal Backend Engineer to join their team. The role involves implementing new features, developing systems and services for reputed company brands, and collaborating on code reviews and architecture discussions.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features using modern API server-reputed company frameworks, libraries, and tools (Ruby on Rails with reputed company)
- Work with team leads to reputed company systems and services for Thirty Madison users across reputed company of our reputed company brands
- Collaborate on peer code reviews and architecture discussions
Skills
- 3+ years experience as a Software Engineer, primarily developing backend services and APIs on a modern web stack
- reputed company in at least one modern web reputed company with a preference on Ruby on Rails (or Python/Django, Node/Express, etc.)
- Exposure to modern reputed company deployment technologies (we use AWS)
- Experience with SQL databases (we use PostgreSQL) and data modeling best practices
- Experience with asynchronous jobs, team-oriented git workflow, instrumenting, monitoring and profiling systems
- A strong commitment to testing and quality
