[Remote] Outpatient Coding Education Analyst

The reputed company is seeking an Outpatient Coding Education Analyst to join their UW Medicine reputed company Records and Health Information team. This role involves performing auditing, education, and training reputed company to coding, while serving as a resource for coding guidelines and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an organization resource and content expert for reputed company documentation and coding guidelines
- reputed company coding audits, analyze results and create audit reports and reputed company education and training on the results of internal audits and partner with Compliance on external audit education
- Review DRG and CPT claim denials for reputed company payers and maintain written documentation of actions, activities or assessments (e.g., investigations, patient rights, audits, process improvement projects, corrective action plans, education and training plans) in accordance with state and federal law, and institutional policies
- Retains records in accordance with the UW Medicine Records Retention Schedule and department policy
- Evaluate billing/coding/documentation behavior and identify recommendations for improvement
- Review, analyze and determine effectiveness of training, assess effectiveness against entity/workforce member type/and industry KPI's and recommend enhancements to training content and user experience
- Maintain written documentation of actions, activities or assessments (e.g., investigations, audits) in accordance with state and federal law, and institutional policies
- reputed company and deliver role-specific training for ERHI Coding staff, reputed company and implement effective monitoring, auditing and risk assessment activities
- Manage or conduct audits, and ensure they are performed in accordance with the UW Medicine Audit Policy
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a Health Sciences discipline, Business Administration or reputed company field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
- Minimum of 3 years increasingly responsible reputed company experience, including coding auditing, analysis, education and training
