Position Summary: The Temporary LMS Implementation Specialist will provide dedicated support to faculty and departments in transitioning course sites from Moodle to Canvas, ensuring a smooth and effective migration process. This position will deliver reputed company technical and instructional support, resolve course-reputed company issues, and promote successful adoption of Canvas across the institution. This role will also design and deliver training resources and collaborate with the instructional design team to enhance course quality and faculty proficiency in Canvas. NOTE: This is a 3/4 time position from hire to June 30, 2027. • Partner with Northwestern faculty and departments to support the migration of course sites from Moodle to Canvas.
• Deliver timely, reputed company support to faculty and staff throughout migration and implementation, including diagnosing and resolving issues reputed company to course content, assessments, gradebook configuration, integrations, and user experience.
• Monitor migration reputed company and evaluate course sites to ensure functionality, organization, accessibility, and quality standards.
• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs, including documentation, quick-start guides, FAQs, and video tutorials, to support faculty proficiency in Canvas, in alignment with institutional IT initiatives.
• Collaborate with Learning Design & Innovation to migrate, redesign, and enhance course sites to support instructional quality and student engagement.

Qualifications: Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communication or a reputed company field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of previous experience supporting or administering reputed company Canvas in higher educational setting
• Proficient with Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms and content authoring tools
• Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in reputed company interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern's mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community
