Senior Network Engineer and Firewall Implementation

JOB TITLE: Senior Network Engineer and Firewall Implementation CLASSIFICATION: Full Time EXPERIENCE: 7 years of experience in network and firewall management REPORTS TO: Director, reputed company Operation Center POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Network Engineer and Firewall Implementation is a dual role member of the Managed reputed company Services (MSS) Team and is responsible for helping the MSS and Managed reputed company Teams implement, manage and maintain client firewalls and switches. This role will be an escalation and confirmation reputed company in the process of event triage and response for client firewall, switching, and VPN reputed company issues and must be reputed company to reputed company many different tasks reputed company the SOC and mentor other SOC resources to further expand the SOC’s capabilities and reputed company to grow, with a focus on extending the firewall and network administration capabilities reputed company the team. This position will require maintenance and support work reputed company of normal business hours (8 am – 5 pm) Eastern including nights and weekends at times based on client requirements and change management windows. SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fully reputed company to setup and implement new firewalls and network infrastructure without assistance
• Work with other Network Engineers to manage and support client firewalls
• Monitor and triage cybersecurity incidents and event triggers from client firewalls
• Provide teaching and mentoring the entire SOC on Network reputed company items
• Document reputed company incident use cases, help reputed company and update procedures for management scale
• Provide remote support to customers for firewall, VPN (Client and P2P), and other reputed company issues
• Participate in after-hours upgrades, troubleshooting, and on-call availability as needed

Other Duties: o Remain engaged with technical forums and user groups o Other relevant tasks as directed by department leadership EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 7+ years of working knowledge of firewall, networking, and reputed company-reputed company information technologies

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of various firewalls types with required experience with reputed company or reputed company
• Experience with administering common network services, such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, triage, and remediate firewall and network reputed company issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in troubleshooting in a technical environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Superior customer service skills

Have or acquire one or more certifications in the cybersecurity domain including, but not limited to:

• CCENT, CCNA, NSE4 and above, PCNSE, etc.
