About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Support: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries received through live chat, email, SMS, and other digital communication channels, ensuring each interaction reflects arenaflex's commitment to excellence and customer-first values.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer concerns related to billing, account management, service interruptions, technical difficulties, and product inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex issues to specialized teams when necessary.
  • Product & Service Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of arenaflex's complete suite of energy services, products, pricing plans, and sustainability initiatives to provide accurate, helpful, and persuasive information to customers.
  • Sales & Promotion: Identify opportunities to introduce customers to additional arenaflex services, promotional offers, and energy-saving solutions that align with their needs, contributing to team sales targets while maintaining a consultative, customer-centric approach.
  • Account Management: Assist customers with account setup, profile updates, payment processing, autopay enrollment, and other administrative tasks, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience across all digital platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical support, billing, sales, and product development teams to resolve complex customer issues, share customer feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all customer interactions, issues, and resolutions within the CRM system, maintaining detailed records that support quality assurance, training, and process improvement efforts.
  • Performance Excellence: Meet or exceed established customer service KPIs, including response times, resolution rates, customer satisfaction scores (CSAT), and sales conversion metrics, while consistently delivering high-quality support.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, product updates, and best practices in customer service to maintain expertise and deliver informed, relevant support to customers.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate's or bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center, live chat, or digital support environment. Experience in the energy, utilities, or subscription-based service industry is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written communication abilities with a keen eye for grammar, tone, and clarity. You must be able to convey empathy, professionalism, and authority through text-based interactions.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess situations quickly, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions under pressure.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple software platforms simultaneously, including live chat systems, CRM tools (such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or HubSpot), ticketing systems, and standard office productivity suites.
  • Typing Speed & Accuracy: Ability to type at a minimum of 50-60 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring efficient and error-free customer communications.
  • Remote Work Readiness: Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download), a quiet and dedicated workspace free from distractions, and the ability to maintain focus and productivity in a home-based environment.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support customer service operations across multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications & Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Previous experience in energy, utilities, telecommunications, or subscription-based service industries
