As an Enterprise Customer Engineer – Data Analytics & Cloud Solutions you will be the technical bridge between arenaflex’s sales teams and our most strategic customers across North America. You will champion arenaflex Cloud’s data‑analytics capabilities, design robust architectures, and guide customers through complex migrations, modernizations, and analytics initiatives. Your expertise will directly influence how leading enterprises harness data to solve real‑world business challenges, from predictive modeling to real‑time event processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with technical sales specialists to identify, qualify, and prioritize data‑analytics opportunities across diverse industry verticals.
- Engage senior technical stakeholders and executive leaders, presenting arenaflex Cloud solutions through demos, whitepapers, and proof‑of‑concept (POC) engagements.
- Conduct comprehensive technical discovery sessions, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud architectures.
- Design, prototype, and optimize data‑warehousing, data‑lake, and streaming pipelines that leverage arenaflex Cloud’s native services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
- Provide thought leadership on data governance, migration strategies, ETL/ELT best practices, and performance tuning for both batch and real‑time workloads.
- Collaborate with product management to relay customer feedback, influence roadmap decisions, and prioritize features that accelerate adoption.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales messaging, including technical briefings, RFI/RFP responses, and solution briefs that highlight arenaflex Cloud’s unique value proposition.
- Support bid responses, advocacy initiatives, and post‑sale technical enablement to ensure seamless hand‑off to implementation teams.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, cloud market dynamics, and emerging data‑analytics trends to position arenaflex as the preferred partner.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of hands‑on experience designing, deploying, or supporting cloud‑native architectures in a customer‑facing or technical support capacity.
- Proven ability to engage with technical stakeholders and C‑level executives, delivering clear, persuasive presentations.
- Solid foundation in Big Data concepts, including analytics warehousing, data processing, transformation, governance, migrations, ETL/ELT, SQL/NoSQL, and performance optimization for both batch and streaming workloads.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical sales, consulting, or solution architecture within cloud computing, data analytics, or Big Data domains.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and tuning scalable distributed systems, including schema design and query optimization.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, storage, platform services, and the broader cloud market, with an ability to anticipate customer buying behavior.
- Hands‑on experience building data warehouses, data lakes, real‑time event processing pipelines, and data visualization solutions on arenaflex Cloud.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits
