The Customer Service Representative (CSR) position sits at the heart of arenaflex’s Sales department. In a fast‑growing market, the CSR acts as the primary liaison between our sales team, engineering experts, and a global customer base. Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Order Management
- Process inbound sales orders using SAP‑like ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FAA regulations.
- Collaborate with sales engineers to translate complex product specifications into clear, actionable order entries.
- Maintain and update the customer database, tracking order history, warranty status, and service contracts.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports that highlight order volume, fulfillment rates, and revenue trends.
Customer Interaction & Issue Resolution
- Provide phone‑based support to customers across the United States and international markets, addressing inquiries about product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Diagnose and resolve complex customer concerns, escalating technical issues to the appropriate engineering or logistics teams when necessary.
- Document all interactions in the CRM system, ensuring a complete audit trail for future reference.
- Follow up with customers post‑delivery to confirm satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross‑selling.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with inventory control, warehousing, and logistics to coordinate timely shipment of high‑value aviation parts.
- Assist the marketing team by providing insights from customer feedback that can shape promotional campaigns and product development.
- Support the finance department with order verification, invoicing, and credit checks.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, contributing data‑driven insights and suggesting process improvements.
Essential Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in a customer service or sales support role, preferably within the aerospace, aviation, or high‑tech manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and engaging demeanor when interacting with senior engineers, pilots, and procurement officers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms; familiarity with Pentagon procurement processes is a plus.
- Track record of using CRM tools to maintain detailed customer histories and generate actionable reports.
