Customer Experience & Interaction

  • Warmly greet every customer and patient, offering proactive assistance with products, services, and store navigation.
  • Model and share best‑practice service habits—eye contact, courteous language, and a genuine smile—to inspire teammates.
  • Listen actively to resolve questions, concerns, or complaints, ensuring each interaction ends with a satisfied customer.
  • Identify opportunities to suggest complementary items, trade‑up options, or promotional offers that meet the shopper’s needs.
  • Provide specialized assistance in the photo services area, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and creative machine usage, while upselling promotional photo products.

Operations & Transaction Management

  • Operate assigned cash registers with speed and accuracy, handling cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining balanced tills.
  • Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges in compliance with arenaflex policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves; conduct inventory checks, price tagging, and stock rotation using the first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) method.
  • Assist with product placement guidelines—such as keeping raw foods separate from pre‑cooked items and positioning alcoholic beverages and tobacco products according to state and local laws.
  • Execute asset‑protection procedures, identifying potential shrinkage risks and reporting discrepancies promptly.
  • Construct and refresh promotional displays, seasonal setups, and super‑structure merchandising as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
  • Handle web‑pick‑up duties: monitor online orders via Picture Care Plus, pick items accurately, and deliver orders to customers upon arrival.
  • Support interior and exterior store upkeep, ensuring a tidy, inviting environment for shoppers and team members alike.

Team Collaboration & Development

  • Maintain respectful, supportive relationships with coworkers, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, completing performance‑linked learning modules (PPLs) assigned by management.
  • Take on special projects or ad‑hoc tasks as delegated, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute beyond core duties.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer‑service certifications are a plus.
