[Remote] Business Development Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GlobalData Plc is a specialist information services business focused on helping clients make better decisions through data and analysis. The Business Development Executive will identify new opportunities and engage senior decision-makers to introduce GlobalData's intelligence platform, while receiving training and mentorship to develop B2B sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Engage senior decision-makers and introduce GlobalData’s intelligence platform to potential clients
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business leads through outbound outreach and strategic research
- Conduct online demonstrations that show how GlobalData’s insights help companies make better decisions
- Consistently generate and manage opportunities that lead to new business wins
- Your success is rewarded through an uncapped commission structure
- Work closely with experienced sales leaders who will coach you to develop the skills needed to progress into senior sales roles
Skills
- 6–12 months experience in sales, customer-facing, or competitive environments (retail, hospitality, call center, recruitment, athletics, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with new people
- A competitive mindset and strong work ethic
- Coachability and openness to feedback
- Curiosity and the ability to ask thoughtful questions
- Resilience and determination when facing challenges
- Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear conversations
