[Remote] Product Owner – Digital Asset Management (DAM)

Hirobe Limited is a specialist recruitment partner focused on the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, seeking an experienced Digital Asset Management (DAM) Product Owner. This role involves leading the governance and optimization of enterprise DAM capabilities, managing the product roadmap, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective management of digital assets.

Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the DAM product roadmap and backlog
  • Gather, define, and manage business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable DAM solutions
  • Lead discovery workshops, requirements sessions, and solution planning activities
  • Establish and maintain DAM governance, metadata standards, taxonomy structures, and asset lifecycle processes
  • Drive DAM platform enhancements, implementations, migrations, and optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with Agile delivery teams throughout planning, development, testing, and release cycles
  • Support integrations between DAM and enterprise platforms including CMS, PIM, ecommerce, marketing, and creative systems
  • Define KPIs and reporting to measure adoption, asset usage, search effectiveness, and operational performance
  • Lead user adoption, training, governance, and change management efforts

Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Marketing Operations, Content Operations, or related fields
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, DAM Lead, or similar role supporting enterprise platforms
  • Strong expertise in DAM governance, metadata management, taxonomy design, asset lifecycle management, and content operations
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager Assets (AEM Assets) or a comparable enterprise DAM platform
  • Experience leading DAM implementations, migrations, platform enhancements, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, backlog management, user story development, and Agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive governance, adoption, training, and organizational change initiatives
  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and Adobe Experience Cloud solutions
  • Knowledge of content supply chain processes and enterprise content operations
  • Experience integrating DAM platforms with CMS, PIM, ecommerce, marketing automation, analytics, and creative tools
  • Agile, Scrum, Product Owner, Adobe, or related certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
