[Remote] Email Marketing Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Signature Solar is seeking a high-impact Email Marketing Specialist to own and scale their email channels. This role will be responsible for building and optimizing best-in-class B2B and B2C email programs, including campaign execution, lifecycle automation, segmentation, testing, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the B2B and B2C email marketing strategy across the full customer lifecycle (lead nurture, onboarding, activation, cross-sell, upsell, re-engagement, retention)
- Partner with Marketing, eCommerce and Sales to align email programs with launches, promotions, and GTM initiatives
- Build segmentation and personalization frameworks based on behavior, lifecycle stage, industry, and purchase intent
- Own end-to-end email production: concepting, copy, creative briefing, build, QA, optimization/testing, deployment, and post-send analysis
- Design and implement automated journeys (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, reactivation, lead nurture, B2B sales handoff, etc.)
- Maintain and optimize trigger logic, timing, and frequency to maximize engagement and conversion
- Lead A/B and multivariate testing across subject lines, creative, CTAs, offers, cadence, and personalization
- Continuously improve deliverability, open rates, CTR, conversion, and revenue per send
- Own reporting dashboards and performance insights tied directly to revenue, pipeline, and ROI
- Forecast and track email-driven revenue contribution for both eCommerce and B2B pipeline
- Identify opportunities to increase AOV, repeat purchase, and lifetime value through targeted lifecycle programs
- Support promotional strategy and pricing tests in partnership with eCommerce and Performance Marketing

Skills
- 2–5+ years of hands-on email marketing experience in high-volume B2C and/or B2B environments
- Proven experience building lifecycle automation and revenue-driven email programs
- Deep understanding of segmentation, personalization, and behavioral targeting
- Strong copy instincts and conversion-focused creative judgment
- Experience with ESPs and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Marketo, or similar)
- Advanced knowledge of deliverability best practices, CAN-SPAM/GDPR compliance, and data hygiene
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive optimization and business decisions
- Experience in Salesforce, Big Commerce, eCommerce, solar energy
- Experience supporting both direct-to-consumer and sales-assisted B2B funnels
- Advanced analytics a plus
