Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Insight: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the product, technology, and market dynamics that influence arenaflex’s growth, translating that insight into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Consultative Influence: Partner with senior leaders using an “impact without authority” approach to diagnose organizational challenges, recommend solutions, and drive measurable results.
  • Talent Management Leadership: Guide leaders on workforce planning, succession, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development to ensure the right talent is in the right roles at the right time.
  • Change Management & Culture Building: Lead change initiatives, promote agile mindsets, and embed a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the business.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Analyze HR metrics and trends, craft compelling narratives, and present data‑backed recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Recruitment Collaboration: Partner with Talent Acquisition and Compensation teams to design competitive offers, streamline hiring processes, and support a high‑velocity talent pipeline.
  • Learning & Development Enablement: Identify skill gaps, collaborate with Learning partners to design targeted development programs, and track the impact on business outcomes.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Execution: Work with DEI councils and employee resource groups to implement inclusive hiring practices, employee engagement initiatives, and cultural awareness programs.
  • Organizational Design & Process Optimization: Lead projects that redesign structures, streamline workflows, and introduce new tools to increase speed, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with HR colleagues across compensation, benefits, learning, and operations to deliver cohesive people solutions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within a technology‑focused organization.
  • Proven track record of influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategic actions.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of presenting to executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive outcomes in fast‑paced environments.
  • Experience partnering with product, engineering, or development teams on talent strategy and workforce planning.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR, or equivalent).
  • Experience with large‑scale organizational redesign, mergers, or acquisitions.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday, SuccessFactors) and analytics tools.
  • Background in entertainment, media, or streaming services adds a competitive edge.
  • Fluency in multiple languages or experience working with globally distributed teams.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture, anticipate future talent needs, and align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Influence & Negotiation: Skilled at building consensus, persuading stakeholders, and driving change without formal authority.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Strong empathy, active listening, and the capacity to build trust across diverse groups.
  • Problem‑Solving: Creative, data‑driven approach to diagnosing issues and designing sustainable solutions.
