Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Greeting customers and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Operating a cash register, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Making purchase suggestions and promoting products to customers
- Working with our food program and providing excellent customer care
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the interior and exterior of the store
- Interacting with customers daily, providing solutions to their needs, and building strong relationships with our community
- Working collaboratively with a fun, energetic team to achieve daily goals and objectives
- Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance and being available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- A strong sales and customer service background, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and come up with creative solutions to customer issues
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive and supportive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required; retail and customer service experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Retail and customer service experience, with a strong background in sales and customer service
- Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on customer service and sales
- Motivation to advance in your career, with a desire to learn and grow with arenaflex
- Willingness to learn and have fun, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Physical Requirements
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be required to:
- Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
- Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination and occasional climbing of ladders to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
