As an Application Engineer, you will collaborate with Sales and Engineering to support customers in building mission-critical systems, creating technical assets, and resolving system-level challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Own and build customer-facing technical assets—including demo systems, technical presentations, quick-start guides, application notes, and hands‑on evaluation workflows
  • Partner with Sales to provide embedded and system-level expertise across the entire customer journey: discovery, evaluation, PoC, and adoption
  • Debug real system issues across OS, middleware, BSPs, networking stacks, tools, and application layers—applying deep system-level reasoning
  • Run benchmarks and performance investigations, document findings, and recommend optimizations that influence customer designs
  • Act as the connective tissue between Field Application Engineering, Product Management, R&D, and Engineering Services—bringing real customer insights into the product roadmap
  • Support hardware demo environments, ensuring platforms are properly configured, validated, and ready for customer engagements

Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field—or equivalent practical, embedded-focused experience
  • Hands‑on experience with embedded systems through internships, co‑ops, academic projects, or early-career roles
  • Strong programming skills in C and/or C++, ideally with exposure to low-level or real-time concepts
  • Experience working in Linux development environments (toolchains, command line, debugging tools, build systems)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create clear, polished technical documentation and presentations for engineers and non‑engineers alike

Benefits

  • Coverage for medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance
  • Retirement
  • Employee share purchase program
  • Paid-time-off
