Job Summary
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant, you will play a critical role in helping patients navigate the complex world of specialty pharmacy. You will be responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to pharmacists for completion, making outbound calls and faxes to physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. Your exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a high-production environment will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Responsibilities
* Route questionable prescriptions to pharmacists for completion
- Make outbound calls and faxes to physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and other stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements
* 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
Preferred Qualifications
* Specialty pharmacy experience
- Call center experience
- Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: Minimum: $17.00 Maximum: $27.90 Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
