As a key member of our Southwest Business Department, the Manager State & Higher Education will play a vital role in executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts. This dynamic leader will coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management, driving sales growth, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

As the Manager State & Higher Education, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts
  • Coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
  • Increasing sales growth through targeted initiatives and partnerships
  • Establishing formal partnerships with key stakeholders in the managed travel industry
  • Broadening awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to SLED managed travel accounts
  • Identifying, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and establishing successful partnerships
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience in the managed travel industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services
  • Certification in sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • A base salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year
  • Bonus and commission opportunities
