Responsibilities
As an Experienced Data Entry Operator / File Clerk at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining an employee database and their useful information in an accurate and up-to-date manner.
* Updating customer data on a daily basis through useful information, ensuring that all records are current and accurate.
* Reviewing data deficiencies or errors, correcting incompatibilities if possible, and verifying the output of authorization documents.
* Checking data for accuracy and sorting it according to source documents, ensuring that all information is properly categorized and easily accessible.
* Verifying and updating data before entering it in the database, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete.
* Entering data and filling in missing information through research and coordination with concerned departments.
* Applying data program techniques and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate data entry.
* Entering paperwork into an electronic system either by data entry or by using optical scanners, streamlining our document management process.
* Handling all requests to access files and maintaining logs of borrowed papers, ensuring that sensitive information is properly secured.
* Developing an efficient filing system to make updating and retrieving files easier, reducing administrative burdens and improving productivity.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with Data Entry Operator Certification considered an asset.
* Proven experience working as a Data Entry Operator, Data Entry Clerk, Typist, or a similar position in an administrative department.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Accurate typing skills with the ability to maintain high levels of productivity.
* A strong understanding of data integrity and security, with a commitment to confidentiality and data protection.
* Familiarity with administrative procedures and protocols.
* Proven experience as a file clerk, with knowledge of filing systems and procedures.
* Very good knowledge of MS Office and office equipment, such as photocopiers and scanners.
* A good command of English, both oral and written.
