Key Responsibilities

  • Accept inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding prescription coverage, medication inclusion, and mail-order solutions
  • Provide clear and concise information to customers to help them better understand their coverage and options
  • Offer solutions and support to customers to improve their healthcare experience
  • Utilize computer applications to access customer information and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and concerns
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, military experience)
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to issue resolve in a positive, helpful way
  • Willingness to engage with customers in a patient, supportive manner that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer's quality of life
  • Reliability and consistency in adhering to scheduling principles
  • Ability to demonstrate patience and empathy and express confirmation and confidence
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous phone etiquette and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Solid oral, written, and relational skills
