Job Summary

As a Part-Time Data Entry Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing general clerical and administrative office duties, including data entry, customer service, and administrative support. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Type a minimum of 45 wpm with accuracy and speed.

  • 10-key by touch with precision and efficiency.
  • Insert patient and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from hospital systems into internal accounting systems.
  • Edit and/or create PDF files or Excel files as required.
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files, including those from hospital partners, patients, attorneys, or other agencies working with our patient population.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the team lead or management.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Exchange email required.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including being friendly, courteous, and helpful.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally, as well as interact in a professional manner with colleagues, patients, public, and client staff members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a home internet connection that meets blithequark's upload and download speed criteria.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or administrative support.

  • Familiarity with hospital systems and internal accounting systems.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
