Position Overview: As a Virtual Special Education Teacher in the heart of Minnesota, you'll have the chance to provide exceptional instruction to students with unique learning needs through virtual means. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver engaging and effective virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs. • Collaborate closely with students, parents, and educational teams to craft Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and specialized instruction strategies. • Provide targeted support and accommodations to help students excel in the virtual classroom. • Keep a watchful eye on students' progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed. • Be a vital participant in virtual IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to develop effective intervention plans. • Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support their child's educational journey. • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in special education and virtual instruction. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education. • Special Education teaching licensure for Minnesota • 2024-2025 school year • Experience in virtual instruction is a plus but not required – we'll provide the training! • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Empathy, patience, and an unwavering passion for helping students with diverse needs succeed. • The ability to create a virtual learning environment that fosters growth, learning, and fun.
