About the Role

We are currently seeking online adjunct faculty members to teach in our Information Technology program, with a focus on Cybersecurity. As an online adjunct faculty member, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality academic experiences and supporting students as they work toward their educational goals. You will work collaboratively in a supportive academic environment, partnering with student advising and the academic team to ensure that each student has the support, tools, and resources they need to be successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of student outreach and connect with students, academic advisors, and team leads on a frequent basis to ensure student success
• Be engaging, offering an increased and innovative presence in the classroom
• Provide substantial student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades
• Teach a range of courses, including CYB-200- Cybersecurity Foundations, CYB-210- Computer Networking, CYB-220- Network Security, and more
• Collaborate with the academic team to develop and implement curriculum improvements
• Participate in faculty development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry trends

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field from an accredited higher education institution
• 3 or more years of industry experience in IT
• Teaching experience at the college level
• Active CAP, CASP CE, CCISO, CCSP, CEH, CISSP, CND, CNDA, GCIA, SCYBER, Security+ CE, CISM, and/or GSLC certifications
• Active COMPTIA continuous education (CE) certifications: Network+ CE, Linux+ CE, Security+ CE, Server+ CE

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience teaching online courses
• Familiarity with learning management systems and online educational platforms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
