Restaurant Server - Full-time Year Round
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Full-Time Year-Round Restaurant Server to join our team at The Sebastian Vail. - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Present menus, answer questions about the menu items, and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages with attention to detail, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and managing utensils, glassware, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to provide seamless service.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance service and overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server in a busy restaurant environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including allergy and dietary restrictions
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
