Cybersecurity Analyst (Cybersecurity Analyst, Staff)

Redwire is hiring a Cybersecurity Operations Analysts who will work remotely, with the option of working onsite if you live within a commutable distance to a Redwire Space facility. In this role you will perform daily monitoring and respond to cybersecurity incidents across Local and Wide-Area Networks; work with various systems/technologies to ensure standard security controls are in place and operational (firewalls and proxies, SIEM, antivirus, IDPS, etc.) and overall protection of information assets. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to learn and grow as a professional in the cybersecurity field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor corporate assets for security events, breaches, and incidents.
• Respond to security threats and incidents in real time.
• Install security measures to protect information assets from threats.
• Detect and address vulnerabilities across corporate information infrastructure.
• Assist in developing company-wide best practices for IT security.
• Document security events, incidents and information security controls.
• Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
• Research security enhancements and stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.

Ideal Experience

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field, willing to consider experience in lieu of degree.
• Two or more years of experience working as a Cybersecurity Analyst on an operational network
• CompTia Security Plus certification
• Experience with basic networking technologies (routers, switches, proxies, etc.)
• Experience with basic security technologies (IDPS, firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, etc.), certification preferred.
• Experience in threat identification and mitigation.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and management.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements specified in NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53 or the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Must have the ability to occasionally travel.
• Be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance

Desired Skills

• Experience as a systems or network administrator on a DoD, federal, or DoD Contractor information system that complies with NIST SP 800-53 or NIST SP 800-171
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center
• Experience with encryption technologies used for data in transit and data at rest.
• Experience securing Linux & MAC environments
• CompTia Cybersecurity Analyst Plus (CySA+) certification
• CompTia Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) certification
• EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification
• Experience working in the NSA or DoD Electronic Key Material Systems
• Experience using the Risk Management Framework for Federal Information Systems in

NIST SP 800-37.

• Experience supporting manufacturing, development, and testing environments a plus
• Working toward a bachelor’s degree or higher in cybersecurity or information security
