Software Engineer, Developer Productivity

• Maintain an efficient CI/CD pipeline to help developers ship the software faster and safer in a structured environment.
• Build local environment tooling to enable the engineering team to build and test product features swiftly and safely.
• Work with the engineering team to get services deployed across different environments.
• Implement and optimize developer workflow to reduce friction and increase productivity.
• Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.

As our next Developer Productivity Engineer, you should have 5+ years of developer productivity or similar experience, helping build scalable systems that can handle millions of users, plus:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent developer experience instincts. You first think about engineer experience rather than the best technical solution.
• Previous experience at a hyper-growth startup. You’re a self-starter who can hit the ground running with little direction.
• Prior experience in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP) using Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Terraform.
• Expert knowledge of various CI/CD workflows.
• Exceptional coding skills and the ability to ship lightning-fast. We primarily use Python and Elixir, but previous knowledge of each is not required.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.

Compensation $185,000 - $245,000/year + benefits + equity The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
