Remote Data Entry Specialist (Entry-Level)

Job Description:

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our Information Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our data systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and providing support to our business units. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to launch their career in the IT industry and work with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and maintain assessment items, including data and business intelligence items
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
• Conduct research and provide input into project plans, including analysis and interpretation of data
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries and system diagrams
• Work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and quality
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data management and analytics

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, information technology, or business administration)
• 2+ years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of data management principles and practices
• Experience with SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure)
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and human-centered design
