Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring timely and efficient payment.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Quicken, ensuring seamless data management.
• Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects, including LIHTC compliance, to drive success and achieve goals.
• Participate in audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Stay updated on financial concepts and regulations relevant to governmental accounting, applying knowledge to drive business growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with relevant experience considered.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Quicken, with a plus for experience.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices, with a plus for experience.
• Understanding of payroll processing and related regulations, with a plus for experience.
