Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Studies teacher to join our ALP team. As an Online Social Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Teaching Social Studies to high school students in an alternative learning setting, which may include in-person or virtual instruction
• Establishing a culture of learning that aligns with our district's mission, beliefs, and strategic plan
• Inspiring and engaging students in relevant learning experiences
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when working with students, staff, and families

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

• A valid Minnesota Social Studies teaching licensure
• Experience and training in Culturally Linguistically Responsive (CLR) methods or similar
• Teaching experience in a high school setting with Social Studies certification and/or alternative education experience
• A passion for working with diverse students and families
