The Role

Versaterm is looking for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to ensure the efficient and effective establishment of error-free, secure, and performant instances of Versaterm applications. You'll be responsible for managing deployments and coordinating upgrades in both in the Versaterm Cloud and at customer premises when necessary. This role combines technical expertise and support, some people management, requiring someone who can drive results through effective team leadership while maintaining deep technical involvement in cloud operations and security.

What You'll Bring

• BS or BA in a technical field & 3-5 years of experience in Cloud operations
• Deep experience with SaaS applications on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Azure Application Services
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell scripting
• Strong Infrastructure as Code and automation experience, including Terraform and, Ansible.
• Expertise in cloud security, Virtual Private Networking, and Authentication/Authorization
• Expertise implementing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Understanding and consistent adherence to business ethics
• Ability to personally achieve results, take ownership, and accept responsibility
• Demonstrable ability to achieve results through effective management of others
• Ability to plan and budget multiple priorities to achieve specific results and follow through on commitments
• Keen grasp of time management
• Amazing verbal and written communication skills, plus strong listening and questioning abilities

You’ll Impress Us With

• Experience with on-premises datacenters
• Experience implementing SaaS with Amazon Web Services
• Experience using and configuring DataDog Monitoring.
• Experience in the development and support of Public Safety software
• Experience using penetration testing tools in a cloud environment
