As a Veterinary Claims Coordinator, you will play a critical role in reviewing medical records and invoices to evaluate coverage and settle pet health insurance claims. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately review medical records and invoices to evaluate coverage and settle pet health insurance claims
• Communicate with insured parties, veterinarians, and pet adoption agencies to determine claim details and request necessary documentation
• Utilize workflow queues to perform job functions, including claim entry, pre-adjudication, and claim closeouts
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely resolution of claims

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three years of veterinary medical experience or equivalent preferred
• Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology
• Proven history of adherence to corporate policies and procedures
• Excellent tracking, follow-up, and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician license
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Articulate, professional, and customer-focused with attention to detail
• Strong computer background using MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Internet
