Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Adhering to SLAs and ITIL processes to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Mentoring and training team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Handling tickets and requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Defining and implementing processes to ensure maximum uptime and adherence to SLAs
  • Overseeing the successful completion of installation, configuration, and migration projects
  • Building and maintaining test environments to ensure optimal system performance
  • Developing and implementing backup and test plans for failure scenarios
  • Improving and maintaining customer and employee satisfaction through exceptional service
  • Suggesting new technologies and design changes to drive innovation and growth

Technical Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining MQ infrastructure
  • Advanced knowledge of MQ on various OS platforms, including UNIX, Windows, and mainframe
  • Strong understanding of middleware solutions and ability to recommend design improvements
  • Experience with MQ patching, security policies, and workload management
  • Ability to identify system performance bottlenecks and fine-tune MQ infrastructure for optimal performance

Soft Skills:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication and conversation skills, both verbal and written
  • Good documentation skills and ability to work with MS Office tools
  • Great customer handling skills and ability to handle unforeseen situations
  • High level of acceptance and ability to drive HCL's values and methodology
