Language Arts Acceleration Tutor

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Language Arts Acceleration Tutor to provide instructional support and reinforcement of literacy skills to high school students at Farmington High School. As a Language Arts Acceleration Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, providing one-on-one support and small group tutorials to help them achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and reinforcement of literacy skills to high school students
• Work with teachers to monitor student progress and design interventions for students in need
• Develop student-centered protocols to build the dispositions of successful writers
• Provide individual or small group tutorials for students assigned to Writing Tutorial
• Participate in relevant professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

• Competitive salary ($26.02-$29.06 per hour)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Major in English/Language Arts preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
