Senior User Researcher

Role Description

This role involves conducting user research to enhance the user experience for AI-powered digital identity technology solutions.

• Design and validate survey and interview-based approaches to measuring quality of user experience (UX).
• Conduct applied UX research (UXR) to understand U.S.-based customer groups and guide strategic decision-making.
• Design, organize, and conduct primary research using various qualitative methods.
• Work directly with product teams to integrate UXR learning into the product development process.
• Partner with growth and sales initiatives to develop passive learning approaches during the sales process.
• Create content that develops customer empathy and influences company decisions.
• Act as a key contributor in growing the maturity of the User Research practice.
• Improve work quality through attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
• Develop the work of other user researchers and build out research processes and the user research depository.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Market Research, International Studies, Business, or related field.
• 36 months of experience as a Design Researcher, User Researcher, or similar role involving customer engagement research.

Requirements

• Experience designing and carrying out user surveys and interviews for technology solutions.
• Experience working with product development teams to implement UXR findings into technology solutions.
• Heuristic evaluation of end-user experience for technology solutions.
• Moderated and unmoderated usability testing experience.
• Familiarity with customer insights software, including Dovetail.
• Experience with UX research for digital identity solutions, including Onfido Studio and Motion.
• Development of research taxonomies and guidelines for conducting end-user research.
