For more information, visit www.gf.com.Summary of Role:Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into a centralized data repository or data lake.Essential Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into a centralized data repository or data lake. Integrate data from different systems, databases, and sources to create a unified and comprehensive view of the company's data. Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data. Work with big data technologies to process and analyze large volumes of data efficiently. Develop and maintain data models, including both logical and physical models, to support data storage and retrieval needs. Establish data governance practices, including data security, access control, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Lead a team of data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring the successful execution of data engineering projects. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, business data users and other stakeholders and subject matter experts to optimize data product quality, reusability and benefits. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering team. Maintain documentation of data engineering processes, data lineage, and data flow diagrams. Analyze data to derive business relevant insights, derive data quality and ETL performance and communicate findings to stakeholders.
