Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Life at UiPath

The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.

To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.

Could that be you?

Your mission

Summary: An Automation Developer is an integral member of the Autopilot Engineering team responsible for implementing templates and solutions that serve as ground truth for Autopilot. This role blends hands-on automation development with core principles of computer science and engineering. You'll build automation samples while also diving into Python programming, data structures, and clean software design.

What you'll do at UiPath

  • Build and deliver automation templates, workflows, and code snippets to boost Autopilot’s code and workflow generation capabilities.

  • Implement and configure Python programs, scripts, and objects that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand.

  • Use your know-how and field knowledge of UiPath to align automation patterns with training data requirements.

  • Continuously improve samples based on model feedback and automation behavior.

  • Analyze processes to extract high-value patterns for standardization and develop Python scripts and programs that use Large Language Models to generate .NET and JavaScript code, as well as UiPath workflows.

  • Work closely with the product team to suggest improvements to core functionalities and adding external technologies to the UiPath ecosystem.

  • Analyze and understand business processes to suggest process improvements and steer the code generation capabilities of Autopilot.

  • Also, as an employee of UiPath you are required to comply at all times with UiPath’s policies that were communicated to you from time to time and that are available on Inside UiPath.

What you'll bring to the team

  • 3+ years of experience with software development life cycle, process re-engineering and RPA technologies.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and organization skills; multi-tasking and time management skills are essential.

  • Ability to break down business problems into logical tasks and think creatively.

  • Cross-functional business and application knowledge.

  • Understand Python and Object-oriented languages, scripting, and database query languages.

  • Project and change management experience, preferably involving IT implementations and UAT management.

Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned.
