We are currently seeking a Senior Architect to join our Buffalo office. In this role, you will work closely with clients and lead the design team, overseeing architectural projects from concept to construction. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Experience with public-sector and/or School Construction Authority (SCA) NYS Professional Architect License Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD Knowledge and experience with public-sector work including industrial, commercial and educational sectors Knowledge of local NYC building codes and regulations is a plus Work directly with Clients and Stakeholders to understand expectations, develop the design, and implement construction documents in a timely manner Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity Oversee an inter-disciplinary team including internal staff and external subconsultants Maintain dynamic communications with clients, staff, consultants, and contractors Oversee the development of contract documents, perform quality reviews and coordinate the work with each discipline for comprehensive project delivery Strong understanding of building codes and regulations Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their technical skills Prepare construction document packages independently Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
