Job Title: Director IoT Connectivity Management Portal (CMP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Director of IoT Connectivity Management Portal (CMP) to lead the strategy, roadmap, and product management of our CMP and API product. This role will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring seamless IoT connectivity management, and enhancing the user experience and feature set for upmarket customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IoT, cloud-based connectivity, and SaaS platforms, combined with strong leadership and strategic product vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Define and execute the roadmap for the Connectivity Management Portal (CMP) and API, aligning with company strategy and goals, competitive positioning, market trends.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including product management, and UX/UI, to enhance CMP functionalities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive CMP’s role and relevance in the company’s IoT and connectivity strategy.

Product Management & Innovation:

  • Oversee the design, UX, and product management of the CMP and API to ensure product differentiation, scalability, and security.
  • Identify and implement new features, to improve customer experience and position emnify as leading next-generation IoT connectivity provider
  • Ensure superior UX and consumability as differentiator to key competitors.

Customer & Market Focus:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to understand customer needs and market demands.
  • Develop CMP/ API capabilities that empower customers to manage IoT connectivity smart and efficiently, including provisioning, optimizing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Execute selected partnerships and pre-integrations with relevant players in the IoT Value chain, e.g. Mobile Device Management partners, to enhance CMP’s interoperability and superior CX.

Operational Excellence:

  • Drive continuous improvement in CMP/ API adoption-depth, performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making by leveraging market intelligence, product analytics and customer feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security regulations, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in either IoT, telecom MVNO/MVNE, or SaaS platform development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IoT connectivity platforms, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and API-driven solutions.
  • Leadership & Strategy: Proven track record of leading high performing product teams.
  • Analytical & Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to translate complex technical challenges into business solutions and customer value.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing external partnerships.
  • Experience with AI/ML for UX/ UI, predictive analytics & maintenance, workflow management
  • Background in working with MNOs/MVNOs and telecom ecosystems is a plus.
