What We're Looking For

• Solid experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-centric engineering role
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Databricks
• Strong understanding of big data processing, including data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration in cloud environments
• Proficiency in Python or Scala for building robust and efficient ETL/ELT workflows
• Solid grasp of data modeling best practices (e.g., star and snowflake schemas, normalization) and experience handling large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets
• Advanced SQL skills for querying, data transformation, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, and data versioning techniques within Databricks
• Experience integrating Databricks with cloud storage platforms such as Azure Data Lake, AWS S3, or Google Cloud Storage
• Understanding of CI/CD practices in data engineering, including version control and orchestration tools like Airflow or Azure Data Factory
