Software Developer - Part Time Fully Remote - LCS - Ohio - work from home job Company: LCS Job description: Are you an expert in creating scalable, robust, and simple desktop and/or web solutions to solve complex business problems? Do you thrive when you can put your technological and coding skills to the test? LCS is seeking a Part-Time Software Developer to join our team. As part of our development team, you will design, develop, debug, test, and implement software features and enhancements for a variety of business software products. You will also be responsible for correcting defects in existing applications and reports. • This position is fully remote and only available to candidates from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee or Florida. This role is part time (up to 25 hours per week). Candidates must be available to work 4-5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am - 6pm EST. Responsibilities • Participate in web application development (including GUI design). • Produce efficient, clean, and well-commented code. • Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement applications and databases. • Work closely with other teams, developers, and Senior Management to build new software features and applications. • Work with all User Interface, Application, and Database-related issues. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience • Experience with Object Oriented programming language (C# preferred) • SQL/database experience • Competency in developing modules independently • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to evaluate complex problems and arrive at a resolution • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Web application experience • Excellent interface design skills • Experience with both web and desktop applications • Experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) • Experience with WPF • Strong back-end development skills • Ability to explain complex technical information in simple language About LCS London Computer Systems (LCS), based in Cincinnati, Ohio, provides businesses with critical software and technology solutions.
