Project Details: Role:Overhead Paging System Services Location:Remote allowed / Should be able to work onsite or offsite Duration:6+ months/longterm Type:Contract Job Description Description Overhead Paging Services Definition: Overhead paging system provides centralized communication to broadcast messages across desired facilities. The systems comprise of interconnected speakers, switches, amplifiers, and microphones strategically placed to ensure maximum coverage. This is an efficient way to communicate instantly essential announcements and alerts, especially in emergency situations. These services include but not limited to: the installation of new audio (overhead) paging systems, and/or upgrade and provide repair services including parts for all departments/agencies of Fairfax County Government buildings. On new jobs contractor shall review plans and provide a design along with cost proposal based on customers’ specifications. For defective units, worn parts and/or components contractor shall provide cost proposal for restoration of system to proper working order. Defective units replaced by the contractor must be the exact model as the unit removed, or a compatible unit of the same manufacturer which has been pre-approved by the County as an acceptable substitute that cannot be repaired on-site and is picked up for shop repair. This shall be returned within seventy-two hours or loaner equipment of an acceptable quality and manufacturer must be provided until the original equipment is returned.
