We are currently seeking a Virtual Assistant to join our team and provide essential administrative support. As a Group Benefits Virtual Assistant at Mid-Cities Medical, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our operations and facilitating smooth communication with clients in a remote work setting. This part-time role entails assisting in managing group benefits and addressing client inquiries related to insurance matters. Responsibilities Engage in customer service interactions via email and online platforms. Maintain professionalism and courtesy when handling phone calls and messages. Assist in transcribing meeting notes and other pertinent documents. Efficiently coordinate projects and tasks to ensure timely completion. Utilize tools like Outlook Calendar to manage schedules effectively. Provide support with personal tasks as required. Perform general administrative duties including proofreading and data entry. Manage calendar arrangements for team members. Uphold organizational standards for file and document management. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Prior experience in the insurance industry or related field preferred. Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach. Exceptional organizational abilities and proficiency in time management. Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and coordinating projects. Proficiency in utilizing virtual communication tools and software. Capability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion. Effective calendar management skills. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in insurance are advantageous.
