Key Responsibilities • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. • Diligently adhere to specific style guides to generate verbatim transcripts. • Maintain exceptional attention to detail while processing audio recordings. • Collaborate seamlessly with the supportive in-office team for assistance as needed. Required Skills • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. • Excellent listening and comprehension skills. • Strong adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guidelines. • Outstanding literacy skills, including spelling and grammar. • Proficient typing skills with a focus on both speed and accuracy. • Ability to process sensitive audio/text content (may include offensive material). • Familiarity with legal terminology is essential. • Candidates must be able to pass a background check. • Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply. • Please note this opportunity is not available for residents of Massachusetts or California.
